I Never Expected Quilting to Change My Retirement Like This

The Memory Makers Button Club is a place to share stories, memories, goals, and moments that matter. Viewers from all over send in a button that represents something meaningful to them—a memory, a milestone, a loved one, or a hope for the future.

Each button comes with a letter explaining its story. I read those letters, share the buttons on the channel, and place them into the Memory Makers jar as a way of honoring the experiences we all carry with us. There’s no right or wrong button—just something that means something to you.

I’m Barry — a retired electrician who traded wires for fabric and found a new passion in quilting. Since retiring in 2021, I’ve enjoyed the freedom to create, travel, and share my projects on my YouTube channel, Barry Quilts. Retirement has given me the time to do what I love most — make, learn, and inspire others along the way.
