Quilt Block Call for Charity – Red, White & Blue Theme
I am collecting quilt blocks for a charity auction benefiting the Alzheimer’s organization through eBay.
Block Requirements:
- Finished size: 12.5” x 12.5” (unfinished)
- Construction: 18 strips measuring 2.5” x 4.5”
- Color theme: Red, White, and Blue
- Block must be pressed and measure 12.5” unfinished
- Fabric must be clean, with no smoking, no pet hair, and no odors
Important Details:
- This is a charitable donation
- 100% of proceeds, minus eBay fees and shipping, will be donated to the Alzheimer’s charity
- All submissions are considered a gift
- No compensation will be provided in return

Hi Barry, have been enjoying your videos. I quilted for years but my husband became ill and I became his caregiver for 10 years. I was no longer abke to devote any time to quilting. He passes away in 2023. It was after his death that I decided to revive my quilting and am loving it!!! It has helped me deal with his death. When you said you were doing the charity quilt for Alzheimers Disease, I knew it was necessary for me to participate. Even though the VA did everything for my Mark, Alzheimers still took him away. I made 2 red, white and blue blocks today and will be sending them out this week along with some fabricyou can use for borders or binding. If you can make more than 1 quilt but find you need more blocks, please let me know. I would be happy to give more time for this noble gift for Alzheimers. Thank you so much
