Barry, a retired electrician with over 40 years of experience in his trade, has embraced a long-anticipated hobby: quilting. His journey began in childhood, assisting his grandmother with fabric cutting for quilt piecing, sparking a lifelong interest.

In the 1990s, Barry took his first quilting class. However, finding himself in a predominantly female-dominated hobby, he felt out of place and decided not to continue at the time.

In the fall of 2024, Barry reignited his passion for quilting, embarking on a journey of creativity and learning. His goal is to craft a quilt worthy of entry into the County Fair and to connect with a diverse community of quilting enthusiasts worldwide.
