This is my first quilt using the Twisted Style quilt block. The key is all HST Half Square Triangles formed in a 3 block wide by 2 block high pattern and repeated over and over.

The key is to get 3 contrasting colors from light, medium and dark to make the illusion. Then I added a grey border followed by a blue border to finish it.

I took a classic quilt ship block and transformed it into a charming small wall hanging. By using a striking navy and white background, I created a sense of depth and contrast, making the design stand out beautifully. The sails, done in bold yellow and orange, add a vibrant pop of color, bringing energy and movement to the piece. This thoughtful combination of colors gives the quilt a nautical feel while also making it a unique decorative piece.
